NXP Mifare DesFire 2K/DESFire 4K/DESFire 8K is the contactless IC card which is made under NXP MF3 IC D21 or NXP MF3 IC D41 or MF3 IC D81(NXP Mifare DESfire EV1 D21/D41/D81). Usually it is called DESFire2K/4K/8K according to ISO14443A. The UID has four bytes. The storage capacity is 4K. The data can be protected by electronic key. Fa'aaogāga malosi: the induced currents without power, healthier, safer safety performance: lightning protection, anti-shock, to meet the requirements of industrial environments. Application areas: Advanced public transportation schema, Highly secure access management, Closed-loop e-payment scheme, Event ticketing, eGovernment applications.
MIFARE DESFire EV1, a Common Criteria (EAL4+) certified product, Suitable for multi-application smart card security service providers. It is fully complies with the requirements for fast and highly secure data transmission, flexible memory organization and interoperability with existing infrastructure.
MIFARE DESFire EV1 is based on open global standards for both air interface and cryptographic methods. It is compliant to all 4 levels of ISO/IEC 14443A and uses optional ISO/IEC 7816-4 commands.
Mifare DESFire D21, Mifare DESFire D41, Mifare DESFire D81 chip belongs to Mifare DESFire EV1 series in a kind of, or called MF3.
